To my couples, thank-you all for the lovely kind words that you have written above and below. I feel humbled and warm when I read them. I have been very lucky to have met such nice people and to help them be happy and relaxed on their special day has been my absolute pleasure!
I must admit I had a great time at each of these marriages so an extra special thank you to the couples I have married, and their guests, for some of the most incredible memories of my life!
Love Sue xx

Celebrant Sue, where do we start! You were a treat to meet with your charisma and positive energy. We found you to be super organised and prompt throughout our preparations. We can’t thank you enough for what we felt was personalised and accommodating to my husbands sometimes inappropriate sense of humour. You helped us create a super duper, joyous and magical day. Our friends and family commented and thought the ceremony was light, joyous and moving. Your delivery and speech was enjoyed by all, you were such a great fit for us!

Sue is a very compassionate and caring Celebrant who listened to our preferences and shared her knowledge to help us create a very personal and unique wedding ceremony. Sue enhanced our experience with her upbeat, fun and excitable delivery. We are both very grateful for Sue's support, encouragement and her recommendations for other services, including setup, photography, makeup etc which we were also very impressed with. With Gratitude, Jane and Kathryn

We would highly recommend Sue Raward and her Lets Elope Team. We are from the UK and wanted to have a simple beach elopement on the Gold Coast. It all seemed very daunting until we found Sue. She explained everything to us and reassured us that, even though we were travelling across the world, this was not a problem to her and that she would organise everything for us. Unfortunately, Covid then came along and our plans were all put on hold. Several rearranged dates later, we were finally able to travel without restrictions and arrived in Australia just two days before our wedding. Sue met us the day before to do a run through of the ceremony and it felt like we were meeting an old friend, after 2 years of communication with her.
On 7th November we finally tied the knot at Sue’s favourite secret elopement spot on Broadbeach with just our two Australian friends as witnesses. Sue knew we wanted a casual, fun but intimate ceremony and she certainly delivered that for us. She made us both feel so relaxed which enabled us to enjoy every moment. The stylist Angelina provided the perfect arbour and Rebecca the photographer was so unobtrusive during the ceremony we almost forgot she was there. The post ceremony pictures on the beach were just beautiful too.
If you are looking for a Gold Coast celebrant who is fun and vibrant, but highly professional and organised then look no further. Whether you want a small elopement ceremony like ours was or a bigger, more formal affair, Sue is your person. Thank you so much Sue and your Let’s Elope Team. We had the most incredible day and you helped us make beautiful memories which will last a lifetime. Carolyn and Kevin

We are so incredibly grateful to have found Sue. From the very beginning Sue was unbelievably helpful and accommodating. We met for a few coffee dates before our wedding to go over the details and paperwork, Sue made the whole process a breeze! Sue had us both feeling very comfortable standing under the arbor, allowing plenty of time for laughs and smiles. Sue was also a hit with the family! Sue and the Let's Elope Gold Coast team were fantastic! We were actually due to me married during LaNina 2.0, but the team were more than happy to postpone for a sunny day. Not to mention the commitment for sunrise! It is clear by how much passion and attention to detail Sue provides, that she absolutely loves her job! What an amazing lady!
One more thing, it's also nice to not be the only one in the photos with a smile so big their mouth is open! Hahaha! Thanks Sue!

How can I even begin to put into words the love I have for Sue. She was a breath of fresh air! Weddings are very stressful, but not with Sue! She guided us through every step of the way. Her fun-loving nature, amazing personality and great sense of humour was exactly what our wedding needed! I cannot thank her enough and would recommend her to ANY getting married.

Sue and the let’s elope team are absolutely amazing! We could not recommend them enough! Everything was easy, relaxed, beautiful and nothing was too much trouble.
We were lucky enough to use the team twice once in 2020 when we eloped during covid. Then again in 2022 for a vow renewal/celebration for our families to enjoy!
Everything was amazing, Sue has so much energy and makes everyone laugh!
Bec makes you feel so comfortable when taking photos which can make you feel uncomfortable! You also get a sneak peak back quite early which is amazing!
And Angelina makes everything look beautiful, and even filmed bits and pieces and made a mini reel! We will forever be grateful for the moments you have captured over the last 2 years! We will cherish it forever ❤️.

The only thing that put a slight dampener on our special day was the weather! While unfortunately we didn't have a typical Gold Coast sunny wedding, the personalised and caring service provided by Sue and the Let's Elope Gold Coast team shone through. From day one, we were cutting it fine to secure a team to help us organise our day. With just under three months until our date, we were extremely appreciative that Sue was able to accommodate us. Especially in the busy month of October!! Coming from interstate, the team made this such a stress-free affair... 'affair' the only time it is okay to mention this near a wedding'. Jokes aside, it seemed like all we had to do was show up on the day! Constant communication via email and zoom calls allowed us to plan and add personalised touches to the ceremony. Sue wrote and delivered a beautiful ceremony that captured the essence of us and our journey over the years as a couple. Once arriving on the Gold Coast she even met us during her busy schedule down at the secret elopement spot to ensure our nerves were settled and that we felt confident and prepared for the day. We received endless support and guidance with the completion of paperwork and lodging of forms. Her vibrant nature made the entire ceremony welcoming for all of our guests! Even during the windy day, Sue lent her shoal to one of our elderly family members to protect her from the wind. It's those little acts of kindness that made a world of difference on the day. I would wholeheartedly recommend Sue for any couple looking for a celebrant. If you are looking for the entire package, then look no further as the Let's Elope Gold Coast team has it all covered. A celebrant, wedding stylist and photographer all in one. Ange definitely has a knack for decorating, as our setting on the day was absolutely beautiful. All of our colours were incorporated throughout our setting and no request was too much for her. The arbour was picturesque and I appreciated her attention to detail and help immensely.
Bec is a wonderful photographer, and even with no modelling experience she put us right at ease with great direction. Some of the sneak peek photos we have received back are incredible and can't wait for the rest!
The ladies worked so effortlessly together. All aspects were organised - From coordination of scenery and decor, to the photos and the officiating of the wedding, everything was exceptional. While hopefully this is our first and last wedding, if we ever decided to renew our vows I would definitely engage the services of Let's Elope Gold Coast again.

Our wedding was perfect, yes it rained, yes it could have been an ordeal, but in the hands of Sue it was easy. Sue is a professional. From our first meeting through to the day she was the right fit. Communication was easy, assistance was offered in all aspects, and she was supportive of our choices. We did things a little differently, changed our minds a couple of times, Sue made suggestions that helped shape things for a super fun, relaxed, stress-free day. Sue's outfit on the day was gorgeous, and she fit right in with our guests. They all commented at what a great role she played. I highly recommend Sue, for her flexibility, professionalism, caring and communication... You will be in safe hands with Celebrant Sue.

The number of stars here aren’t enough to rate how happy we are with Sue and the rest of the team (Bec and Angelina). You ladies have been so helpful in preparing us and making the exact day perfect for us. No head aches - just chill, relaxing ceremony which both Flo and I loved. The spot was GORGEOUS (the weather on that day was a delightful bonus too😍). We couldn’t ask for anything more. Thanks heaps, Sue! I second all other reviews - you and the rest of team are definitely highly recommended!!! ❤️❤️❤️

We were so very lucky to come across Celebrant Sue. From the moment we met her we just knew she was the right celebrant for us. We wanted a wedding which was fun and was inclusive for both our family and friends which also demonstrated the love between my husband and I. Sue took time to hear our story of how we met, what type of ceremony we were looking for and overall really understood what was important to us.
Not only is it clear she loves what she does, she does it so very well. Even when my vows did not make it to her in time, she was so supportive in encouraging me just to say what was in my heart at that moment.
Celebrant Sue, we could not have asked for anyone better to marry us. Your laugh always made me laugh and your personality just had me smiling. Thank you so very much.
By Sandra Chalk who married Chris Quarry on Friday, 12th August 2022 at Gold Coast Farm House, Numinbah Valley.
My husband and I eloped in March with Sue as our celebrant. Sue was so personable and within moments of meeting, we knew she understood what we wanted out of our wedding ceremony. She was witty with her write up about our relationship, and reflected our love story so perfectly. On top of this, she was incredibly organised. (She even made an effort to call me a couple of days out to reassure me as she knew I was worried about the weather!). We couldn’t have pictured a more beautiful day, and it was all made perfect thanks to Sue and the Lets Elope team. Thanks Sue!

Celebrant Sue is the best. I can't recommend her highly enough. She is super organised, fun and trustworthy. She was so reassuring throughout the whole process, as every time I talked about anything wedding related, I'd cry in anticipation and excitement but she was so supportive! She was so much fun at our ceremony. Our Best Man pranked her with an empty ring box and her reaction was the best, she was so professional but relaxed and fun! The speeches she wrote were wonderful, her feedback on our vows was really helpful and she was a rock of reliability and professionalism on the day. She was also very photographer aware, so was out of frame in the key moments!!

Such an upbeat, funny, caring, intuitive celebrant that has a gift for ‘getting’ her bride and groom and delivers exactly what you ask for. We found Sue when we needed her the most. As soon as we contacted her and told her of our family situation, we knew she was the one to make it all possible for us. She got onto our shortening of time application that day so that we could marry within the week. We had our approval the next day! Given our circumstances we knew we needed someone special, we certainly found that in Sue. She went above and beyond, and made what was an emotional time a day to remember not just for us but our family too. I remember just looking around at everyone during photos, everyone was so happy and talking and there you were...just blending in with our family and friends. Who would have known you were actually the celebrant! But that just shows what a genuine, caring beautiful person you are! Sue thank you for your amazing organisation skills, being on the ball from the word go, for your wonderful recommendation on a venue (it couldn't have been any more perfect!), and for just being the amazing person and celebrant you are! Ross and I thoroughly enjoyed our wedding day with Sue at the helm. She is an amazing lady, full of fun and wit and with excellent attention to detail. Planning a wedding from Victoria to be held on the Gold Coast could have been tricky, but Sue smoothed the way for us and made everything super easy. All of our family and friends have commented on how lovely Sue was and how she helped make the day as special as it was. The team Sue works with, which includes a photographer and stylist, were indeed outstanding and we have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone else contemplating a wedding at the Gold Coast. Their local knowledge was helpful also and assisted us in our choices of ceremony site, accommodation and reception. Thank you Sue and the rest of the team for being so wonderful!

This review is long overdue! Unlike Sue, I struggle with words. Right from the initial meeting Sue made us feel at ease, we were constantly in stitches and we knew straight away she was the one for us. She's one of those people that you could have only just met, but it feels like you've known her for a lifetime. Sue was our celebrant about a month ago for our VERY WET WEDDING! The first time I met Sue was just before walking down the aisle and can I say, her positivity and happy beautiful smiling face was just so contagious! Just as I was starting to get quite upset with the torrential rain and our wet weather option being a big failure, Sue pops up with the most incredible attitude and I couldn’t help but smile. She made me feel exactly like nothing else mattered in the world at that point in time (which it didn’t !) . Sue was just the perfect celebrant for us and made our ceremony so special. She told our story like she’s known us forever and made it the perfect mixture of funny, sensual, romantic, classy and just beautiful. Leading up to the wedding she made the whole process so smooth and easy, all the pre wedding paperwork etc, nothing was too much or a hassle for her. Long story short we were absolutely blessed with our celebrant and can’t recommend Sue enough! Thank you Sue xxx

From the moment we first contacted Sue she made us feel welcome with her fabulous high vibe personality. She explained everything so clearly and was on the ball and so informative and professional from the word go. We then flew to the GC to meet with Sue and those feelings only grew. It is truly difficult to put into words how much of a perfect match Sue was for us at our wedding. It can be a daunting process to scour through the list of celebrants available, but after a bit of Instagram stalking we felt that Sue would be a great fit for us. Amelia and I are so happy that we decided to choose Sue.
Sue is the perfect mix of being professional and funny and she has the strange ability to make you feel like you have known her for a long time, which made the whole process stressless, fun and very personal.
Sue, the impact that you have left on us will genuinely be cherished with the beautiful memories you helped create (including the great banter and light hearted insults lol). We have had so many guests approach us and compliment how great you were and how you made the ceremony fun and engaging. We would absolutely 100% recommend you to anyone looking for a celebrant.

Sue is able to listen to your ideas, mix it with her years of experience and deliver the most beautiful ceremony in a way where everyone feels comfortable and has a laugh (even the most nervous of brides). Sue is organised, professional and takes care of the small stuff for you. We could not have asked for a better person to lead our special day. Thank you Sue! xo

Sue is the best! Honestly, she is so easy to talk to, guides you through the whole process and makes everything FUN! She is the ultimate hype woman! She really let's you know that you're in safe hands, and goes above and beyond to make everything perfect. Did I mention that she is hilarious? If you're looking for someone your guests will not only want to listen to, but laugh along with, Sue is the only choice! On a soppy note, she was a rock for me on the day. We were a Lockdown Wedding on Saturday July 31st. Lockdown started at 4pm. Our ceremony was originally scheduled for 4pm. Great luck right? Sue came to the rescue by getting there earlier, calming everyone's nerves, picking up everyone's spirits and getting the damn thing done pre 4pm! Even though Covid was there to throw a spanner in our day, Sue still made it feel like the perfect ceremony, and has even reached out after to check we're okay. What an absolute legend.

Sue was our celebrant for our wedding in March. Our family lives in Ireland so they joined us via video call. Sue was nothing short of INCREDIBLE. She was so lively, fun & personable. All I can say is wow. I first saw Sue on FB long before I was even proposed to and I knew that I wanted her to be my celebrant (a girl knows what she wants always). So when he popped the question I immediately knew who was going to be there by our sides. From the first time we met, I knew she was a cracker and we got along like two peas in a pod. She is so welcoming, polite, hilarious and just a super fun person to be around. We were meant to get married in October 2020 but because of COVID, we had to reschedule. None of this was a problem for Sue as she fit us in where she could.
On the day, I was so nervous, literally shaking from knees upwards but Sue helped Jesse and I get through the ceremony and never once rushed us, let us compose ourselves and even had a laugh with us throughout our vows.
I cannot recommend Sue enough, she did so much for us and the ceremony that we had and the backstory she captured of us was perfectly put. We are so beyond thankful for Sue, you helped make our day so magical.

We met Sue about 12 months prior to our wedding and we are so thankful we did. She made everything so much easier. From the moment we met her we knew she was going to be perfect for our special day. She spent time getting to know us on a Saturday. Her communication throughout the lead up was awesome also. Leading up to the big day she recommended a rehearsal and took the time to do this for us and the bridal party. She honestly did such a great job at our ceremony and she is super energetic, hilarious and makes the experience very calm and collected and gets the crowd going also. We couldn't recommend her services highly enough, if you're looking to get married, definitely give Sue a call and have a chat with her. Thanks for all your help Sue.

Our Dream was always to have “Our Special Day”. After 21 years together, we were already committed BUT truly wanted to formalise our relationship. The 2017 “YES VOTE” for Same Sex Marriage was overwhelmingly accepted and encouraged us to fulfil our dream and be married.
We clicked on Celebrant Sue’s website and immediately we felt warm & fuzzy. The vibe was “Oh it must be Sue who marries us”. How right were we. Just perfect Sue.
We chose the “Elope Package”, contacted Sue and all was underway for our Special Day.
Sue is incredible, amazingly organised and a breath of fresh air. So passionate, enthusiastic and truly caring.

I saw Sue in action at a friend’s wedding a few years ago and I knew then that the day that I got married I already had my Celebrant sorted and how lucky we were that she said yes! We cannot put into words the gratitude and sheer adoration that we have for Sue, she loves her job and her clients and most of all she just loves the love! My husband and I had decided to elope with no guests at all and Sue helped us the whole way through with everything that we needed to do even offering witnesses if need be. She cares so much and has such fun along the way! Due to COVID our venue had to be changed 10 days out from D-day and she was so helpful and supportive to help us find a new venue and any other arrangements. On the day she turned up, with a smile from ear to ear eager to just help and have fun, not only did she come with a bottle of champagne in hand. After our ceremony (as many I’m sure) we were swooped off with the photographers and Sue helped tidy up the ceremony and just went above and beyond anything that was possible. We honestly couldn’t recommend her enough and don’t think our wedding day would have been the same if it wasn’t for Sue who helped us organise and seal the deal. Thank you soo much!

Sue has been an absolute legend through everything! She has been nothing short of amazing.
We started the year off organised, excited and ready for our 8.8.20 wedding but then Covid-19 happened and it all sort of went downhill from there.
We had made the decision to continue with our wedding regardless, even if numbers were smaller due to restrictions and Sue was nothing but supportive. As the months progressed things started looking up for a slightly more 'normal' wedding and then all of sudden cases started rising and then borders were being shut and it all was looking really crap for our day. But Sue, she was there for us with solutions and ideas, suggestions, laughter and a big smile. We ended up getting married but on the 7.8.20 instead and it was amazing and beautiful and so memorable and I can honestly say not all possible if she didn't help as much as she did. Sue never once threw in the towel, she was happy to help and went above and beyond to be there for us.
Sue is passionate about her job and it shines through in every way. She has an enthusiasm and love for her job that I just adored and it came across straight away in our first conversation.
There is no one I would ever recommend then her to be your celebrant. She is the best and I'm confident if you choose her you won't be disappointed.

I'm not usually one to write reviews, however I felt it necessary to really help people decide if Sue is the right celebrant for you. Going into our wedding, we were very laid back, and what was important to us was having someone celebrate our marriage who was "on the same wavelength" as us. We didn't want formal, we didn't want everything sorted to the last dot. We're kinda more "go with the flow" kind of people (you know, the whole "bring your wedding date forward a day because weather and why the hell not, I can't wait to marry the love of my life") and Sue absolutely embodies that as a celebrant. But what you don't see during the process is any indication that Sue is doing incredible work behind the scenes. She helped organise absolutely everything, and it was effortless. It was such a breeze, you'd think that your friend is helping you organise your wedding, but in reality, Sue is working hard in the background, just making sure that everything goes smoothly for you. Sue is a wonderful, open, welcoming and warm human, with nothing but time, love and happiness for those around her. She has a positive and revitalising aura that is contagious and energising, and simply being in her presence is a breath of fresh air. She makes you feel confident in your decisions during what can be stressful time, and was always there to support any questions or concerns we had during the process. Sue and her team are relaxed, professional, down to earth and so welcoming to everyone around them. We are honoured that Sue and her team were the ones to officiate our marriage, and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone to engage Sue for her services. She is incredible and you won't find anyone like her. Thank you Sue for making our day so special.

Sue helped my husband and I elope during the COVID19 restrictions. We were so happy we found her because her service was spectacular, especially working with the restrictions during the time. She is always positive and very helpful and answered all of our questions and went above and beyond. Highly recommended.

Had an initial phone call and Sue was so efficient that we had everything sorted for our marriage application in one day. Sue guided us through all the requirements and preparations smoothly. She is so easy to communicate with and clear about the next steps. Sue married us in a small ceremony at home due to Covid but it was a ceremony filled with laughter and fun! Would recommend Sue to anyone who would love getting married in an easy, hassle free and lots of fun and memorable experience!

I had spent a couple of weeks Googling celebrants and had a couple of recommendations from other married couples but I just didn’t feel right with them. I wanted the person to marry us to have a certain quality about them. Someone who we trusted, who we could talk to about anything, who made us comfortable and one who we could maybe have a beer or wine with while we discussed one of life’s most important milestones.
I rang Sue one evening in May 2019 and we spoke for almost an hour. She was charming, eloquent, funny as hell and an absolute breeze to talk to. She got us even more excited for our wedding and I knew in my heart that she was going to be the celebrant for us.
We met Sue at a local tavern and we hit it off straight away. It was pure kismet. We laughed, I cried, we sank a few drinks and the entire time I kept thinking “I can’t believe how lucky we are to have found you”.
Over the next few months Sue, my husband and I talked even more and we started to form a very special friendship. She made the whole process so effortless and no question was too big, too small, too complicated or too stupid for Sue. Luke and I decided that we liked her and her lovely husband Dave so much that we invited them to our reception which they delightfully accepted.
My husband isn’t a wordsmith and a little self conscious about it but Sue gave him some really valuable advice and his vows ended up making everybody at our wedding cry. They were absolutely beautiful.
Sue went above and beyond the call of duty for us. She is a kind, generous, hilarious and a very passionate person. She absolutely loves what she does and you can tell because she is so bloody good at it.
The ceremony was like something out of a movie. Sue made people laugh, cry, be serious when the time came and she had this natural ability to connect with each and every one of our guests. Almost 3 weeks later and I am still getting rave reviews about Sue.
If you want a rigid wedding with no heart or soul then don’t call Sue.
If you want a fairytale wedding, one that you can talk about for years and pass stories on to for the generations after you then please do yourself a favour and have a chat to this amazing Fairy Godmother of weddings.
We love you Sue and we can’t thank you enough for what you did for us. The memories that you helped us to create will be forever in our minds and in our hearts.

We have both been so blown away with Sue's service as an amazing celebrant. She helped us create the perfect atmosphere for our ceremony. At short notice we had to cancel our original ceremony/wedding because of the COVID-19 restrictions and Sue found the perfect location for an intimate impromptu wedding with just our families.
Sue set up the location beautifully and re-worded the ceremony so that it fit in perfectly with the vibe of the event. Thank you so much Sue we couldn't have got married in these circumstances without you.

Sue was absolutely amazing! From the moment we met I knew I wanted Sue to marry us. She made everything so easy, took the time to really get to know me and my husband and made our ceremony personalised and one of a kind.
She absolutely nailed it with the perfect amount of humour and seriousness making our guest go from crying one moment to laughing the next and really capturing who we are as a couple. Being heavily pregnant and organising a wedding Sue really made sure I was ok every step of the way. It really felt like we had one of our family friends we knew for years marrying us even though we had only met a few months in advance.
Now, weeks later after our wedding I still have comments from my guest telling me how perfect our ceremony was and Sue will forever be a special part of our lives. I really can’t recommend Sue highly enough.

We're so happy we picked Sue as our celebrant. She was great in the lead up to the wedding, took the time to have a drink with us and get to know us. Plenty of contact in the lead to make sure we had everything in order. The ceremony was just what we wanted; it was genuine, engaging and there were plenty of laughs. The most amazing celebrant ever! We first met Sue for our first meeting a year before getting married. I thought it would just be a quick meeting but 2 hours later we were still sitting at the coffee shop laughing ourselves silly. We knew straight away Sue was our lady! Over the next year she helped us out with everything we needed for our ceremony. Made everything effortless for us from start to finish. And she did not disappoint at the ceremony! The perfect amount of serious when needed and light hearted, warm and funny. On the 10.7.19 Sue married myself and my partner of 8 years. We were looking for something private and quick. Living in NSW but planning a QLD elopement for an already planned holiday in 5 weeks sounded completely crazy and impossible. Haha
That was until I contacted Sue, she listened to what we wanted and made it happen. Through emails and phone chats she made us confident we’d entrusted this in the perfect person.
Everything went amazing and so smoothly, better than we could have ever dreamed.

Wow.. I can’t even put into words how truly amazing Sue was as our wedding celebrant! She put together our ceremony in such a fantastic way that captured mine and my husband's personalities. She spoke about how we met in such a beautiful way that had me and our guests laughing, crying and reminiscing all at the same time.
The months leading up to the wedding Sue touched base regularly to make sure we were on track with our vowels and helping out with any questions we had. On the day Sue made the whole wedding party feel at ease and really made an effort to mingle with guests and set the tone for our magical day.
Sue was articulate, personable, heartfelt, funny and most importantly put it all together in a way that was “us” and exactly how we wanted it.

Where do we even start? Both my partner and I couldn’t have chosen a better celebrant if we tried! From the first point of contact with Sue, we knew she would be great! She is a very welcoming, passionate, professional and funny individual and knew she was going to make our ceremony perfect! Sue went above and beyond to make sure we both felt comfortable and that our ceremony was going to be one to remember! Our guests were also very pleased with her and how well she managed to create such a beautifully relaxed ceremony. She did have a challenge with Ben, who, if She wasn’t there, would’ve literally passed out from all his nerves! So WELL DONE with that one Sue! 😂
But in all honesty, if you are still searching, then stop! Because you can’t go wrong with Celebrant Sue!

Sue was the perfect fit for our wedding. From our first meeting with Sue, we knew we had picked the right person to marry us. She is so easy to talk to and literally goes above and beyond to try and make this process a hell of a lot easier than it has to be! She gave me full creative license to chop and change our ceremony as many times as possible, in the end this resulted in the perfect ceremony, we would not change anything in retrospect! She provided us with inspiration for our vows and made sure my hubby got his vows in by the due date! On the day she was a familiar face and felt as if she was just as excited as us to be there with our friends and family. She delivered a flawless ceremony and managed to win our guests over. Sue was our celebrant this past 12th of April. My (now) husband found Sue online last year and from our very first communications with her up to now has been nothing short of wonderful. When we met Sue was so funny and easy to talk to. We didn’t look at any other celebrants. Her organisation made the process seamless for us. We changed the wedding date multiple times on her, changed the ceremony format (private elopement to full ceremony), and on the day had to delay our ceremony an hour due to weather. Through all of this Sue was nothing but understanding, helpful, and full of humour. She made us feel comfortable every step of the way and even provided helpful advice when we needed it. Ultimately, we could not be any happier with our choice to have had Sue be part of our important day. Thank you for everything!

Celebrant Sue MADE our wedding! Our ceremony was so intimate, unique and special. She recognised our needs without prompting and tailored a beautiful ceremony incorporating our 3 children into it. She added humour to the intimacy and kept some of the traditional elements to our modern day ceremony. She was well prepared and organised throughout the lead up to, and on, our big day. Sue married my husband Peter and I on 16 March 2019. Hands down, she was one of the best things about our magical day!
One of our main concerns when choosing a celebrant was that we wanted to have someone who felt ‘familiar’, like they had known us forever! Our worries about that dissipated immediately when we met Sue about 6 months before our big day! On the day, Sue was AMAZING. Her narrative about our story was funny and warm, she had us and all of our guests giggling throughout the whole ceremony! The happiness in her voice as she went through the ceremony cannot be faked - Sue genuinely cares about her job and the couples she marries and we feel so lucky to have been one of them!

Sue - firstly I really can’t put into words how amazing you are. You performed the wedding for my daughter Jessica to Ben in a sunflower field - I think you were heaven sent!! Truly I don't know how Jec found you - if she wrote a wish list for her wedding you would have a tick in every box. Even watching thousands of miles away you made me feel like I was actually there. I felt like I knew you and was so comfortable with you. I can't imagine anything being done better. You should be called “Angel Sue” because that's what you are. You understood what Jec wanted and needed better than she did and out performed yourself. Maybe you have a magic wand - whatever you do keep doing it!!! You are “perfection”!!!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You being there made me feel better about not being there!! Not sure if that makes sense but I'm sure you know what I mean!!

Our friends and family loved her and talked about how amazing she was after our ceremony. The staff at our wedding venue were also really impressed and complemented Sue! She made us feel so relaxed and special and ensured our ceremony was personalised and unique.
We highly recommend that you choose Sue! Anna & Scotty x

My husband and I decided to elope on the Gold Coast whilst on our family holiday with all the children. After doing some research I found Sue. She was so lovely right from our initial email. Sue is so friendly, funny, her sense of humour is perfect. Her professionalism was next to none. I found trying to organise everything was easy as she had all the important side of it all sorted. We had a beautiful, slightly emotional ceremony. Everything we dreamed of! I highly recommend Sue, you really won’t be disappointed!

We had the pleasure of Sue marrying us on our big day last week. She made our wedding personal in every way. Her ability to read her couple's and work with us in our pre planning to deliver exactly what we wanted was spot on. Not only professional but fun, friendly, reliable and just great all round vibe to have standing with us sharing our day. We are proud to have her in our wedding day memories for the rest of our lives. Thanks Sue you're the best.

Omg what a bloody legend, I picked sue by a photo, because unlike some of the other photos she looked like a fun person, and that's exactly what we got and day of fun and a ceremony full of laughter. Professional on every level in her field and a personality that could adapt to everyone from the stuck up guests to the let's get sloshed ones. All my guests commented on how well she just clicked with my partner and myself, which was what I wanted and got. If I was silly enough to do this again, I’d pick sue all over again. Very highly recommend

Sue recently married Dave and I in November. She was amazing, made the whole process so easy. She has a great sense of humour and makes you totally relaxed from the first meeting. She gave us lots of ideas, and was very flexible allowing us to put together our perfect day. It was an absolute pleasure having Sue as our celebrant. I feel we have made a lifelong friend (even if she does like Cats 😉) . Would happily recommend Sue to anyone who is looking for a down to earth, fun, experienced professional.

I’d like to start with stating how easy the process was with Sue. Me and my new husband are both incredibly happy with Sue and her rapport building skills/professionalism and humour. If you are wanting a unique ceremony tailored to you I would recommend working with Sue. She is extremely bubbly, REAL and the choice of wording used was exactly what we wanted for our ceremony. Our certificate was handled by sue and posted directly to us no need to wait in lines or take the time to register ourselves. She also sent links for name changes which is so convenient. Thank you sue for making our day special, we are both grateful to you!

If I had to use one word to describe Sue it would be: Genuine. With her you will find someone who is both professional and warm. Not only was she friendly and easy to deal with, but she genuinely cared about us and what we were after. She's a lot of fun too, and even though we'd only just met, Sue felt like a friend you'd known for years. We found choosing a Celebrant to be one of our hardest tasks in the lead up to the wedding. For us it was all about ensuring that our celebrant was able to appeal to not only our tastes, but the tastes of a fairly diverse and dynamic crowd. The number of comedian hipsters who think they're funny that are working in this field is mind boggling. At one point we had real concerns that we wouldn't find "The One" for us. As soon as we met Sue, our search was over. I am quite confident in saying that the dynamic that she added to our wedding could not have been matched by anyone else. We cannot recommend her highly enough and know that any future couples wanting to use her will feel the same as us. So thanks Sue! You're a wonderful Celebrant, but most importantly, a wonderful person.

Sue was perfect. Perfectly delivery for the crowd and she did her duties with warmth and a personal touch that we cannot fault. Not only that she was able to adapt on the fly as the day evolved. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Had my sons naming day on the weekend (12th November 2016) Sue was awesome!!! Had so many people ask me how I knew her and comment on how real and natural she was. We wrote the speech together which meant that we could make it really personal and she was even able to yell over what felt like gale force winds so all the guests could hear. Was a great day and so glad Sue was a part of it!!! xx
